EMSE Scripting Level 2 builds on Level 1 knowledge to help you diagnose and resolve scripting challenges and opportunities.

Description

Building upon the foundational knowledge gained in the EMSE Scripting Level 1 course, the EMSE Scripting Level 2 course delves deeper into the complexities of EMSE scripting, providing you with the advanced skills and knowledge required to develop complex scripts, debug script problems and exceptions, and develop custom script functions.

In this course, you will explore configurable script options and learn how to set up and deploy configurable scripts effectively. You will also learn how to develop custom script functions that can be used across multiple scripts, streamlining your scripting efforts and enhancing the overall efficiency of your applications.

Moreover, this course will cover debugging script problems and exceptions, enabling you to quickly and accurately identify and resolve any issues that may arise. You will also learn how to develop error handling routines that help prevent future issues from occurring.

By the end of this course, you will have a deep understanding of advanced EMSE scripting concepts and the skills needed to develop complex, customized scripts that meet the unique needs of your organization. You will be equipped to take your scripting abilities to the next level and make a significant contribution to your organization's overall efficiency and success.

Prerequisites

Completion of EMSE Scripting Level 1 or equivalent experience.

Class Technical Requirements

Each participant will receive an Accela training environment to complete the in-class exercises. Each participant will need a text editor to create scripts; Accela strongly recommends using Visual Studio Code as it is cross-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) and has an extensive extension library available.
