EMSE Scripting Level 3

In this final scripting class, learn to troubleshoot common scripting issues and develop non-event script scenarios.

Description

The EMSE Scripting Level 3 capstone course builds upon the knowledge gained in EMSE Scripting Levels 1 and 2. In this course, you will learn how to create new EMSE script items for customized business processes, and understand the critical relationship between configuration and EMSE scripting.

You will further develop your skills in managing the planning, implementation, modification, and deletion of scripts, and explore master scripts in more detail. Additionally, you will learn about developing functions with JSON configuration data, which will enhance your ability to customize and optimize your scripts for maximum efficiency.

Throughout the course, you will work on real-world scenarios and projects to put your skills to the test and solidify your understanding of EMSE scripting. By the end of the course, you will have gained advanced skills and knowledge to effectively develop and maintain complex EMSE scripts to meet the specific needs of your organization.

Class Technical Requirements

Each participant will receive an Accela training environment to complete the in-class exercises. Each participant will need a text editor to create scripts; Accela strongly recommends using Visual Studio Code as it is cross-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) and has an extensive extension library available.
