Crystal Reports
This course is an interactive introduction to writing reports in Crystal.
Description
You will receive instruction in designing reports, connecting to custom data, creating custom formulas, and accepting user input through parameters. Additionally, you will receive instruction in showing workflow, workflow history and adding workflow task/status criteria. Finally, we will close the training with instruction in the creation of a report showing the results of an inspection. The report will show details of inspection results, guide-sheet, and guide-sheet items associated with the inspection.
Participants must perform a number of installations prior to attending this class. See REQUIRED PREREQUISITES below.
Course Objectives
By attending this course, participants will develop the skills to:
- Create a report showing basic Record data
- Add custom fields (ASI) to a report
- Add custom lists (ASIT) to a report
- Add parameters to a report to limit result data
- Add people information to a report (contacts/professionals/owners)
- Add related record parent details to a report grouping
- Add an image to a report
- Create a report to show the current status of workflow
- Create a report to show the workflow history and compare with status history
- Add criteria to a report query to filter by workflow task/status
- Create a report with details of inspection results, guide-sheet, and guide-sheet items associated with the inspection
- Create a report with sub-reports
- Review the migration of record and inspection reports from the Civic Platform to Mobile
Prerequisites
