Writing Accela Reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
This course is an interactive introduction to writing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Description
In this training course, participants will learn how to design and customize reports, including connecting to custom data sources, creating custom formulas, and accepting user input through parameters. Participants will also receive instruction on creating reports that provide insight into workflow, workflow history, associated people, and related record information. The training will culminate in a final project, where participants will create a detailed report showcasing the results of an inspection. This report will include information on inspection details, guide-sheet information, and associated guide-sheet items. By the end of this course, participants will have the skills and knowledge needed to create professional-quality reports that effectively communicate data insights.
Participants must perform a number of installations prior to attending this class. See REQUIRED PREREQUISITES below.
Course Objectives
By attending this course, participants will develop the skills to:
- Create a report showing basic Record data
- Add custom fields (ASI) to a report
- Add custom lists (ASIT) to a report
- Add parameters to a report to limit result data
- Add people information to a report (contacts/professionals/owners)
- Add related record parent details to a report grouping
- Add an image to a report
- Create a report to show the current status of workflow
- Create a report to show the workflow history and compare with status history
- Add criteria to a report query to filter by workflow task/status
- Create a report with details of inspection results, guide-sheet, and guide-sheet items associated with the inspection
- Create a report with sub-reports
- Review the migration of record and inspection reports from the Civic Platform to Mobile
