Description
This training is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to prepare, manage, and deploy low to medium level reports using the Ad Hoc tool. Throughout this course, you will learn how to leverage the advanced report tools to design and develop reports, as well as create sub-reports. You will also learn how to deploy reports in numerous locations throughout the Civic Platform and ACA, ensuring that key stakeholders have access to the critical data they need.
In addition to learning report design, you will also practice creating expressions to concatenate or calculate at the field level, enabling you to customize reports to meet your specific needs. Further, this course will cover how to use the form designer to create forms and letters, streamlining communication efforts and improving overall operational efficiency.
By the end of this training, you will have the skills and confidence to create professional-quality reports that provide valuable insights, streamline critical business processes, and enhance your overall organizational efficiency.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to
• Review the tools used for report writing to ensure that the correct tool is being used for the report.
• Identify supported reporting tools, list their major features, and identify general reporting options across Civic Platform applications.
• Estimate a report's level of effort (LOE) in hours and basic determination of suitable reporting tool.
• Create specifications for low to medium complexity reports.
• Develop and deploy low to medium level reports in Ad Hoc report tool.
• Follow best practice and methodology on analysis and development of reports.
• Ability to do full analysis to deployment process on low complexity level reports in Civic Platform as part of a project team.
