Writing Accela Reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

This 3 session, interactive course is designed to lead you through writing reports to show workflow data, and creation of reports that show results of inspections. The course is comprised of 3 sessions that may be taken separately (if pre-requisites are met), meaning you don't have to sign up for the entire series.

Description

This course is an interactive introduction to writing reports in SSRS. 

In Session 1.5, you will receive instruction in designing reports, connecting to custom data, and accepting user input through parameters.

In Session 1.6, you will receive instruction in showing workflow, workflow history and adding workflow task/status criteria.

And finally in Session 1.7, you will receive instruction in the creation of a report showing the results of an inspection. The report will show details of inspection results, guide-sheet, and guide-sheet items associated with the inspection.

Participants must perform a number of installations prior to attending this class. See REQUIRED PREREQUISITES below.

Course Objectives

By the end of the Session 1 participants will be able to:

  • Create a basic report showing basic Record data
  • Add custom fields (ASI) to a report
  • Add custom lists (ASIT) to a report
  • Add parameters to a report to limit result data

By the end of the Session 2, participants will be able to:

  • Create a report to show the current status of workflow
  • Create a report to show the workflow history
  • Add criteria to a report to filter by workflow task/status

By the end of Session 3, participants will be able to:

  • Create a report with details of inspection results, guide-sheet, and guide-sheet items associated with the inspection.
  • Migrate an inspection report from Civic Platform to Mobile

Prerequisites

REQUIRED PREREQUISITES

Participants must perform a number of installations prior to attending this class. The following installation walkthroughs must be successfully completed prior to class (Est. time required 4 hours).
