The Record Type Configuration and Maintenance course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to build and maintain all facets of record type configuration within the Civic Platform. Throughout this course, you will learn basic and advanced configuration options for associated record components and be able to successfully build fully functioning record types from setup to deployment in the Civic Platform, Citizen Access, and Accela Mobile based on agency business requirements.
As an administrator, you will learn how to set up record types with the appropriate forms, tasks, and workflow rules, ensuring that users have access to the information they need to perform their jobs effectively. Additionally, you will gain an in-depth understanding of how to customize record types to meet your agency's unique needs, including configuring custom fields, setting up validation rules, and creating custom scripts.
Furthermore, this course will cover how to deploy record types across multiple platforms, including the Civic Platform, Citizen Access, and Accela Mobile, ensuring that users can access critical information from anywhere. - Create record types
- Set up Intake Form Configuration for records
- Build workflows, fee schedules and custom fields/lists
- Create inspection groups/types for use in CP, Citizen Access and Accela Mobile
- Configure Conditions and Conditions of Approval
- Build document groups and establish appropriate document type security for the Civic Platform and Citizen Access.
- Manage user security and permissions with both user group setup and advanced security options.
- Set up Accela Mobile according to agency requirements
